Usage Tips:
-How to use “Map” icon in header? When you select “Map” icon from the top row or header then an empty map is displayed on screen. You can zoom on to a state or city and then tap once on map. Your single tap on the map will be used as co-ordinates to load photo’s. Once you have done a single tap, please select “Menu” button and “Search”. You will see images loaded in radius on 5000km. You can then tap again anywhere on the map and hit “Search”. This will load more images and this way you can browse Instagram via map. NOTE: you will need to do zoom in to a city or street for this feature to work. If you are at a very high zoom out level and hit “Search” then no results will be displayed so keep zooming in and try again.
-If you want to view popular/user profile/search results photo’s on a map, then while you are on the screen which has a grid view of photo’s like popular screen, select “Menu button” and then “Map View” and all popular photo’s which have map co-ordiantes will appear in map view
-Back button now works for popular screen which means you can press the “back” button from any other screen inside the app and you will be taken to the “Popular” tab
-While you are on popular tab or user profile screen, select “Menu” button and then “Map View” to view current images on a map
-When you see text auto flip on your screen, tap once on nearby empty white space to stop auto flips. Once it is stopped you can flip it manually by tapping once or swiping left to right slowly.
-You can adjust the number of images displayed on popular and user activity screen (Home -> Menu -> Preferences ). By reducing the number of images you can increase the performance of the app on a android device with less memory.
